Get a Fresh Start This Coming Year!

New Year's Eve has always been a time for looking back to the past, and more importantly, forward to the coming year.  It's a time to reflect on the changes we want or need to make and resolve to follow through on the changes. Therefor, I totally have many resolutions that I would like to accomplish this coming year. You got yours ready?

Una noche antes de recibir el año nuevo es momento para mirar al pasado, meditar y mas importante los deseos que tenemos para el año entrante.  Es tiempo para reflexionar en los cambios que queremos y necesitamos y como podemos llegar ahí.  Por lo cual yo ya hice mi listita de mis resurrecciones que me gustaría hacer para este año que empieza. Ya tienes la tuya lista?

My husband and I want to received the year in a more quiet way.  Comparing from previous years, we have reserved a table at a fine dining where they would be playing live music and the two of us would be enjoying each other surrounded by strange people. Last year we decided to spent New Years Eve in Atlanta and we had a fun, crazy night that I won't forget!
Mi esposo y yo decidimos recibir el año de una manera mas calmada. Comparando con los años anteriores, esta ves hemos reservado una mesa en un fino restaurante donde tocaran música en vivo y los dos disfrutaremos del uno al otro llenos de gente extraña.  El año pasado decidimos recibir el año nuevo en Atlanta y nos divertimos mucho, fue una noche increíble que no olvidare!

I wish you a fresh start to this coming year :) Lots of blessings, love, health, wealth, success and more love to spread out to others. I know I have to make a lot of changes in  my life and I'll have many challenges to face but I'll try to be stronger to become a better person. Go to church, God loves you!

Te deseo lo mejor para este año entrante :) Muchas bendiciones, amor, salud, fortuna, éxito y mas amor para dar a otros. Se que tengo que  hacer muchos cambios en mi vida y tendré retos que enfrentar pero tratare de ser fuerte para ser una mejor persona. Ve a la iglesia, no olvides que Dios te ama!

Christmas Day!!

Usually on Christmas day is a "lazy day".  We wear sweatpants, eat at who ever host Christmas Eve dinner and eat the leftovers and continue with the party!! But this year for dinner Saul and I went to our friends house to eat some delicious beef ribs, baked potato, veggies and watch movies.  Before dinner we stopped to get some drinks and take pics of my laid-back Christmas day.  I love blazers :) I like to match them with jeans, dresses, shorts, t-shirts, dressy shirts you name it. Oh and I wanted to show you my "cow shoes" jaja that's how I called them. They are cute, well I like them! One of the gifts I got is the watch I have on, my cousin Luz gave it to me and I like it a lot, so I wanted to wear something new that day. What do you think of my cow shoes, you don't like it?! :P

Cuando llega la Navidad es un dia mas relajado. Usamos algo de lo que nos regalaron, unos pants, comemos en la casa de quien aya tenido la cena navideña y a disfrutar del recalentado y seguirle con la fiesta!!  Pero este año Saul y yo fuimos a comer a la casa de unos amigos que nos prepararon unas costillas con papas horneadas, vegetales y vimos peliculas. Antes de la comida pasamos a comprar unas bebidas y tomar fotos de un relajante dia de navidad.  Me encantan los blazers/sacos :) Me gusta combinar los con jeans, vestidos, shorts, playeras, blusas, bueno con todo. Oh y queria enseñarte mis "zapatos vaca" jaj asi es como les llamo.  Estan lindos, a mi me gustan! Uno de los regalos que me dieron es el reloj que traigo puesto, mi prima Luz me lo dio y me gusta mucho.  Que piensas de mis zapatos vaca, no te gustan?! :P

Christmas Eve

 

For Christmas Eve it's a must for me to wear a dress that night. But this year I broke my rule, I really didn't have a strong Christmas spirit and it has a lot to do with my parents relocation.  Like I mentioned before, I'm very attached to them and when I was little I spent several Christmas with out one of them. For whatever reason I'll either have mom or dad for Christmas. Once they both leaved under one roof, ufff that made my life much easier.  Christmas is the big thing, and for the last years I had enjoy having both of them and now they moved:( But that's life, I'm a grown lady, must face reality and I have to start my own family. So this Christmas Eve I decided to wear pants, heels, blazer, and spent that night at my cousins house! Most of my family moved for the last year, no aunts, no mom/dad and just cousins to hang around. And yes I was very sentimental, but again that's me, I express my feelings very easily! Food was good, we had a good time with the cousins, presents were open and desserts were yummy! Hope your Christmas was great and warm :) It was super cold up here!

Para la Noche Buena es un requisito para mi usar vestido.  Pero este año rompí mi propia regla, realmente no tenia un fuerte espíritu navideño y tiene mucho que ver con la mudanza de mis padres. Como les avía dicho, yo estoy muy pegada a ellos y cuando era pequeña pase muchas navidades sin uno de ellos. Por el motivo que sea, solo tenia a mi mama o mi papa para navidad.  Una ves que los dos vivían bajo el mismo techo, ufff eso hizo mi vida mas fácil.  La navidad se volvió la gran cosa para mi y por los últimos años e disfrutado de los dos y ahora se movieron :( Pero así es la vida, ya soy mayor y tengo que ver la realidad y empezar mi propia familia.  Así que para esta Noche Buena decidí usar pantalones, zapatillas, saco, y pasar la noche en la casa de mi prima!  En el ultimo año mucha de mi familia se movió, ya no tenemos tías, no mama/papa solo primos para pasarla.  Y si, andaba bien sentimental, pero así soy, expreso mis sentimientos muy fácil!  La comida estaba rica, pasamos buen tiempo con los primos, regalos se abrieron y el postre estaba delicioso! Espero que tu navidad aya sido genial y calientita :) Acá estaba súper frío!

New Blue Pants

I got this blue pants that have a zipper on the side bottom of it and I decided to wear it the next day! I just couldn't wait till spring so I said why not now.  Even though it was cold, the sun was out and you can tell by the pictures that it was hitting my face lol. So here are some pics of the outfit I had on Saturday night.  I'm using the same black shoes I had in the morning, they are so comfy and the heel is perfect to have them all day long.  Like you can see we had some snow but thank God it was just an inch or two. We had been so lucky that we have had a very calm winter so far, I hope it stays like this!!

Me compre estos pantalones azules que tienen zipper abajo de la pierna y decidí ponerme los el día siguiente! No podía esperar para la primavera así que me dije porque no ahora. Aun que estaba frío, el sol salió y te puedes dar cuenta por las fotos que me estaba dando en toda la cara jaj. Ahí tienen unas fotos de la vestimenta que traía el sábado por la noche. Use los mismos zapatos negros que traía en la mañana, son tan confortables y el tacos es perfecto para traerlos todo el día.  Como verán tuvimos algo de nieve acumulada solo una o dos inches.  Hasta ahorita hemos tenido suerte de tener un invierno calmado, espero y se quede así!!

Merry Christmas!!

1st Of New Look

You like My hair color? Me not so much any more :( but what I miss the most is my long hair!! Oh well, I guess it would take a few years to get my length back, for now I have to suck it up and try to enjoy my short hair... Let me share this with you, I called my dad and told him that I got a short hair cut and he's like, "oh noo, why?".  He is the kind of man who likes woman to have long hair and saids thats one of the beauty that a woman has, is her hair! Now once spring gets here I'll go back to my natural color and get some highlights then I'll get myself some hair extensions jaja that would make me feel much better ;) But well, whatever, hair will grow and hopefully fast. Changing subject, have you been to the mall lately?! OMG, it's so mega packed! Christmas is totally making us expend extra money and be more in the stores. I guess is part of the xmas spirit lol... Regarding my outfit, well I like to play with colors and I decided to add a touch of burgundy to my black dress.  How you guys see I wore my burgundy tights that had some circle prints on.  We are in winter season so why not use them?! I think it matched my hair jaja

Te gusta mi color de cabello? A mi ya no tanto :( pero lo que mas extraño es mi cabello largo!! Pero bueno, creo que tomara unos añitos para tener de nuevo el cabello largo, por ahora tengo que aguantarme y tratar de disfrutar my cabello corto...  Deja comparto esto contigo, mira le llame a mi papa y le dije que me corte el cabello y me dice, "oh nooo mija, porque?".  El es el tipo de hombre que le gusta que la mujer tenga melena larga, dice que una de las bellezas que pose la mujer es su cabello, que es un adorno muy sensual!  Ahora que llegue la primavera regresare a mi cabello natural me pondré rayitos y después me comprare extensiones de cabello jaja eso me ara sentir mucho mas mejor ;) Pero bueno, el cabello crecerá y espero pronto.  Cambiando de platica, an ido al mall/centro comercial ultima mente?! Oh dios mío, esta mega llena! La navidad si que nos esta haciendo gastar un poco mas de dinero y pasar mas tiempo en la calle.  Creo que es parte del espíritu Navideño...  Sobre my vestimenta, bueno me gusta jugar con los colores y decidí ponerle un poco de color vino a mi vestido negro.  Como verán use mis medias color vino con estampado de círculos.  Estamos en invierno así que porque no usar esos colores?!  Creo que le combino a mi cabello jaja
